Jonathan brings a huge amount of experience to the Pico team, with a consulting career spanning 20 years and over 30 countries around the globe. In the last six years, he has worked extensively in the Middle East and Africa, predominantly in the FMCG, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas and ‘heavy industry’ sectors.
Johnathan places a strong emphasis on achieving great business results by embedding “high quality thinking” and “high quality doing” methodologies into his clients business processes. In Operational Excellence and Issue Resolution, this has included the development of bespoke training solutions and results based coaching tailored towards each client’s specific challenges and culture. In Projects, Jonathan has an extremely strong international reputation for helping organisations to develop Organisational Project Management Capability. Jonathan’s strength in this area is in helping his clients to establish the project management skills, processes, systems and culture necessary to consistently deliver projects, on-time and on-budget.
Jonathans successful consulting career was built on over 14 years of experience in a variety of operations, engineering and project roles in the mining sector. He graduated from Bradford University in 1983 with an honours degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, passed statutory law examinations in 1985 and achieved Chartered Engineer’s status in 1988. Jonathan has presented at several international conferences and has an MBA from Henley Business School. His recent clients include ExxonMobil; Diageo; RasGas; BMW; HSBC; Johnson Controls; Nikon; Arcelor Mittal; Coca Cola; and TetraPak.
